Best Time to Visit Bunaken
The best time to visit Bunaken is during the dry season (May to October),when you can expect sunny weather, calm seas, and great visibility for snorkeling and diving. For top diving conditions, plan your trip in July or August, when visibility can reach up to 40 meters.
During the summer months, short rains and stronger winds can happen, causing slightly choppy seas. However, most days stay sunny, and underwater visibility is excellent, making it a great time for marine activities.
The rainy season(November to April) brings heavier rain and rougher seas, but Bunaken’s marine life stays vibrant year-round,so it’s still worth a visit.
